Thread & Sugar is the first green salon* in the Central Valley. We promote a different kind of beauty, a lifestyle that promotes luxury, clean environments and social awareness. We celebrate natural beauty maintenance for women and men, and specialize in the artistry of "green beautification". Threading and sugaring are ancient eastern and artistic forms of hair removal that have proven to be the most effective and least painful. Our services also include hair, manicures, pedicures, facials, minx nails, soft gel nails, Henna (Mehndi), and make-up application. We also pride ourselves on being an organic and natural salon, where the products we use on our clients do not contain potentially harmful ingredients but rather healing qualities. We only use organic, natural and wild-harvested ingredients. All products used on clients are hand-blended with love and fully disclosed ingredients on our website. Our purpose is to provide accessible and affordable beauty, without skimping on sanitation and compromising the quality our bodies and environments deserve. Our prices are the most competitive and our services the most unique. At Thread & Sugar we do not use germ-polluted spa chairs with mechanical massage “hands”, but hygienic, elegant, and therapeutic copper spa pedicure bowls and manicure bowls. Copper pedicure bowls are the ultimate organic experience due to their anti-bacterial properties and natural ability to reduce inflammation and pain in feet and joints. Our nail equipment is all autoclaved in sanitation pouches, a medically grade sanitation used in hospitals, to prevent the spread of fungus, infections and viruses that are commonly spread through nail salons. All nail files, buffers and orange-wood sticks are disposable or for you to keep. We only use bamboo towels, biodegradable pedi-slippers and maintain our environment with Eco-friendly cleaning products. You will not find plastic, TV noise, clutter, or air infused with toxic nail enhancements or artificial fragrance; making our salon safe for children and pregnant women. We love to use 100% recyclable materials and believe in sustainable design that is friendly to the environment, healing and chic. At Thread & Sugar you will find an eco-hip, eclectic, and arabesque salon that is unisex-friendly and loves walk-ins!

*We do not use products that contain the following harmful ingredients: parabens, phthalates, sulfates, formaldehyde, petrochemicals, petroleum, mineral oil, talc, artificial dyes or colors, animal products, and other preservatives or ingredients.  Our salon is also cleaned and maintained only with eco-friendly and organic cleaning products. We use recycled paper for our retail bags, business cards and brochures. And our air is constantly purified and filtered to remove any dust, debris, mold, bacteria, viruses, and allergens.
